At PeakHubon Climbing Center, your safety always comes first.
Climbing is an exciting and rewarding activity โ but it also requires focus, responsibility, and respect for others.
Please take a few minutes to read our safety guidelines and rules before you climb.

General Safety Guidelines
- All visitors must complete a safety induction before climbing for the first time.
- Always follow the instructions of our certified staff and instructors.
- Wear appropriate sports clothing and climbing shoes at all times.
- Warm up properly before starting your climb to avoid injuries.
- Report any damaged equipment or loose holds to staff immediately.

Bouldering Rules
- Never climb directly above or below another climber.
- Always land on your feet and try to roll when falling.
- Keep the matting area clear of bags, bottles, or any obstacles.
- Spot your partner correctly if you are nearby.
- Do not climb beyond your ability โ take regular breaks and stay aware of fatigue.

Top-Rope & Lead Climbing
- Only climbers who have passed our belay competency test may belay unsupervised.
- Always perform partner safety checks before each climb.
- Use approved harnesses and carabiners only.
- Never distract or interrupt another climber or belayer.
- Instructors have the right to stop any unsafe activity immediately.

Youth and Beginner Safety
- Children under 16 must be supervised by a responsible adult or instructor.
- All participants under 18 must have a signed parental consent form.
- Parents or guardians must remain on-site during youth classes unless otherwise agreed.

Equipment and Facility Rules
- Personal equipment must be in good condition and approved for climbing use.
- Do not alter, move, or remove holds without staff permission.
- Keep the climbing area clean and dry โ food and drinks are not allowed on the mats.
- Chalk must be used responsibly; liquid chalk is preferred for hygiene.

Conduct and Etiquette
- Be respectful of other climbers โ share the wall, take turns, and avoid blocking routes.
- Loud music, offensive language, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
- Climbing under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited.
- Our staff reserves the right to remove anyone acting unsafely or disrespectfully.

Health and Liability
- All climbing activities are at your own risk.
- Please inform staff of any medical conditions that may affect your safety.
- In case of injury, notify a member of staff immediately โ first aid is always available on-site.
